  1. Hi!

I’m very interest in Commodore VIC20 – I’m using MiST FPGA and I’m real 128er – I’m user and programmer of Commodore 128.
MiST provides me Commodore 64, Commodore 16, Commodore PET2001 (I was tester for MiST port) and Commodore VIC20.
Nexys4DDR provides me Commodore 65, now called Mega 65…
Only one computer has missing disk access – VIC20.
It’s good working core, but disk access is big benefit.
I wanted to test my Mandelbrot program and VIN20 OS.
I’m also creating The Ace operating system for C128, C64, C65 and Mega 65…
Nexys4DDR provides me Commodore 8-bit after C128 and MiST all before C128.
As true 128er I wanted every time to try B128 and P128… but I’m not collector and really don’t want emulator if is not req’d…

So, my Q after lot of words is:
Will you update VIC20 core for disk access?

    BTW:
Nice update can be using own selected Kernal ROM and/or character ROM and/or Basic ROM…
In C16 it work with Kernal only – I used JiffyDOS
In C64 core I used JiffYDOS Kernal, Japanese chargen and will try to exchange Basic 2.0 to 4.0
But in case of C64 core it hangs disk access and have no idea/contact to anybody to explain…

    Thank you for reading it.

Unfortunately I’m out of business for quite some time now and don’t have the time to look into it even if I really would like to improve the core. But I just ported the core and did some enhancement. For questions regarding the core and maybe get some attention you could try to ask the folks at the atari forum: http://www.atari-forum.com/viewforum.php?f=101
